Tesla is only offering registrations in three Indian cities so far: Delhi, Mumbai, and Gurugram. The car will be the most expensive for those living in Gurugram.
Consider this: the Model Y Rear Wheel Drive will cost you Rs 66,76,831 on the road if you live in Gurugram. If you opt for the long-range version of Model Y, it will cost Rs 75,61,021. This price includes almost Rs 9 lakh in GST and road tax for both variants.

It is cheaper to buy a Tesla if you live in Delhi or Mumbai. This is because these cities have more attractive EV policies and offer significant waivers on road tax and registration for EVs. There is no such blanket waiver in Gurugram, which increases the cost there.
In Delhi, the lower variant will cost Rs 61,06,000 on the road, almost Rs seven lakh cheaper than in Gurugram. The long-range option will cost Rs 69,14,690 in Delhi.
The prices in Mumbai are nearly similar to Delhi—the lower variant will cost Rs 61,07,190 on the road in Mumbai, while the upper variant will cost Rs 69,15,190.
